Who We Are

House of Maevie is a residential interior design studio based in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina, serving Raleigh and the Triangle in person and clients elsewhere virtually. When this policy says "we" or "us," it means House of Maevie.

Information You Give Us

Our contact form. When you tell us about a project, we collect what you enter: your name, email address, phone number, project address, a description of your project, your timeline, your budget range, any notes on your investment, and how you found us. We also record the date, the page you sent it from, and basic technical details (your IP address and browser type) to protect the form from spam and abuse.
Our newsletter. If you subscribe, we collect your name and email address. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every newsletter.
Emails and calls. If you write to us or call, we keep what you share so we can respond and, if we work together, run your project.

How We Use It

To reply to your inquiry, understand your project, and decide together whether our studio is the right fit.
To provide our design services if you become a client.
To send the newsletter, only if you asked for it.
To understand how visitors find and use our website, and to measure whether our advertising reaches the right people.
To keep the website secure and free of spam.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Analytics, Advertising, and Cookies

Our website itself does not require cookies. We use the following services, which may set cookies or similar technology in your browser:

Google Analytics and Google Ads, to see how visitors use the site and whether our ads lead to inquiries. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, these start in a restricted mode that does not store advertising or analytics cookies without consent. You can manage Google's use of your data at adssettings.google.com and opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on.
Meta (Facebook and Instagram) Pixel, to measure the results of our ads on those platforms. You can adjust your ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings.
Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a contact form is sent by a person and not an automated program. It looks at signals from your browser and does not use cookies to track you across websites.
Flodesk, which provides our newsletter sign-up form and sends the newsletter.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The website will still work.

Where Your Information Is Kept

Our website is hosted by Cloudflare. Contact form submissions are stored securely in our Cloudflare account and sent by email to our studio team, whose email is provided by Google Workspace. Newsletter subscribers are kept in Flodesk. Each of these providers processes information on our behalf under its own privacy and security terms, and only our studio team has access to your inquiry.

Who We Share Your Information With

The service providers named above, only as needed to run the website, the contact form, and the newsletter.
If you become a client, the trade partners and vendors working on your project, only as needed for that project and with your knowledge.
When the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our clients, or the public.

How Long We Keep It

We keep inquiries and project correspondence for as long as they are useful for our working relationship and our business records, and newsletter details until you unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, except what we are required to keep for legal, tax, or accounting purposes.

Your Choices and Rights

You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email office@houseofmaevie.com and we will respond promptly.

Photos and Embedded Content

If you send us photos of your home, please be aware that images can carry embedded location data. Some pages may include content from other websites, such as a newsletter form or a map. That content behaves as if you visited the other website directly, and that website may collect data about your visit.

Children

Our website is intended for adults planning their homes. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
