How it works
Where the Numbers Come From
Every price starts from the pricing the studio uses to write its own proposals, updated to 2026 costs in the Triangle, with a low, typical and high figure for each part of a room: the construction, the stone, the lighting, the fixtures, the hardware and the appliances. Your choices pick a band within those figures, so the estimate moves the way a real proposal would.
The range also shows who pays for what. Your contractor builds it, the studio sources the stone, fixtures, lighting and hardware, and you buy the appliances directly. The design fee is the studio’s flat fee, from the first concept through the construction drawing set.
Your home, your finishes and your contractor’s bid decide the final number. The estimate is where the conversation starts.
